Itinerary
Day1: Sapa – Headquater – Camp 1 (2400m) (B/L/D)
(Approximately 4 hours of trekking)
After breakfast, we will drive to Mt Fansipan Headquater (1080m), where our conquest starts. The first part is quite easy. Start the trek by following the buffalo paths, crossing streams, trekking through a bamboo forest and passing one of the villages of the H’mong minority people until an elevation of 1,500m. Stop for lunch. The second part of the trail begins to see lots of greenery along the trail, hills, ridges before arriving at Camp 1 (2,400m). Check into our campsite while our team prepare for dinner. Overnight in tents.
Day 2: Camp 1 – Camp 2 (2900m) (B/L/D)
(Approximately 5 hours of trekking)
After breakfast we set out for the five-hours trek to our second camp. As we continue on we will pass through primary forest containing giant, centuries old pine trees and expanses of yellow bamboo. Enroute stop for lunch and rest. After lunch we trek to an elevation of 2,900m, where we set up camp for the second night in view of the summit. Overnight in tents.
Day 3: Camp 2 – Summit (3143m) – Camp 1 (B/L/D)
(Approximately 6 hours of trekking)
After breakfast, we will begin our final ascend to the summit at 3,143m, the highest mountain of Indochina, where you can celebrate your victory. Enjoy the magnificent views before trek back to camp 1. Stop for lunch enroute, after which we will slowly descend all the way downhill through rainforest to Camp 1 at 2,400m. Dinner and overnight in tent.
Day 4: Camp 1 – Sapa – LaoCai (B/L/D)
(Approximately 4 hours of trekking)
Our journey down hill will take about 4 hours, with lunch en route before arriving at the starting point. After which transfer to hotel for shower, free at your own leisure till time to transfer to LaoCai to catch the night train back to Hanoi (4 to a cabin)
