Click to Enlarge Da Nang - Known by its French name of Tourane, the city succeeded Hoi An (Faifo) as the most important port in central Vietnam during the 19th century. This coastal city runs along a river and is surrounded by mountains and splendid beaches such as Non Nuoc (China beach), My Khe and Tien Sa.
